The main elements of the machine are:

• Three main axes and a welded machine box with stationary machine table.
  
• A trimming spindle suspended in a rotatable gimbal head fitted to the vertical Z axis of the machine.

The machines stand out due to their excellent mechanical workmanship, they are equipped up to the last detail with high-class long-life components that require little maintenance. Here but a few examples:

• The axes are driven by three-phase servomotors by Siemens that are maintenance-free and operate with high dynamics and always produce maximum torque even at zero speed with high overload capacity.
  
• The rail guides are compact and impress by their high load capacity in all load directions and by their rigidity. The ball races are hardened and completely sealed to protect them from dirt.
  
• The precision ball screws convert the rotary motion of the motors into linear movement of the axes. This permits high speeds or rpm to be run without vibration problems. Axes up to 8 m length are possible.
