When we started developing CNC trimming machines in 1984 it was our aim to offer the leading machine on the market in terms of technology, quality and performance. 

The advantages of continuous path control, rigid portal design and high flexibility put the GEISS trimming machines soon on the road to success.

The applications of GEISS trimming machines are countless and range from the processing of thermoplastics – in particular deep drawn parts –, sandwiched mouldings, blow mouldings, plywood mouldings, glass fibre and carbon fibre reinforced thermosetting plastics, compression mouldings of GMT and SMC and castings up to lightweight honeycomb materials and wooden panelling.

Our machines are also used to process interior and body parts of automobiles and airplanes, in the sanitary industry to trim plastic bathtubs as well as in prototyping and pattern making to process pattern making foams.

The solutions we have found to come up to the varying demands met with an excellent response from the industry. Our machines are suitable for the trimming of plastic parts as well as for model and mould making.

At the end of 2003, the machine "ECO" series has extended the existing range of CNC trimming machines. This new development is intended for simple processing jobs such as trimming vacuum mouldings and has a very attractive price.

Today, over 400 GEISS trimming machines in various sizes and specifications are operating successfully all over the world!
