19) Temperature controlled machine table. It would be         recommendable to also order the drill hole grid in the machine table         (option 28)) with this equipment.

The temperature controlled machine table is a compromise solution to handle many flat tools that cannot be tempered. Care should be taken to provide these tools with large flat lying areas making contact with the machine table, otherwise it will be of no avail.

Another point to be considered is the fitting of the temperature sensor. The easiest way is of course to leave the sensor on the tempering machine table where it had been fitted as standard. One should be aware, however, that in this case only the temperature of the machine table is controlled and displayed on the operators desk. The actual mould temperature stays unknown and is not controlled!

It is much better, though more costly, to fit the sensor to the mould. This must however be done through the tool substructure and requires one Pt-100 sensor for each mould. The better way has to be decided case-by-case.

When this option is chosen the machine table is overall NC machined.
