3. Temperature controller

The temperature controller unit is integrated into the machine box and linked to the machine control. Compared with a stand-alone unit it offers the following benefits:

• No need for hook-up and connections.
• The sensor can be integrated into the tool;  it measures the tool temperature, not the temperature of the medium.
• The design is corresponding to the machine size. 
• The weekly timer allows switching on in good time of the elements to be tempered.
• The temperature value is also stored on the data carrier.

The temperature controller is a heat exchanger, not a refrigerating machine! It cools with fresh water from the water supply of the machine. It is ideal if the customer has his own cooled water supply. If the cooling water of the machine keeps running off without being used it is not the optimal solution. In this case please consult us as to whether a refrigerating machine is to be preferred.

Tempering is possible for:

• tool,
• clamp frame,
• window plate,
• plug assist,
• machine table .

To do this several circuit can be connected in tandem. If the consumption is high each consumer is to be fitted with a tempering unit.
