The following basic equipment makes the machine series U superior in comparison:

• Top heater equipped with "FAST" type quartz elements, heater element size 250 x 63 mm; output 485 watts.
  
  
• Separately operated bottom heater with same quantity of elements as top heater. Covered by glass ceramic plate.
  
  
• Power setting of each individual element of both heater areas including function control. Furthermore, analogue view of total heating picture as multi-colour picture according GEISS-Patent.
  
  
• Top heater with motorised drive and crank arm for faster and smoother operation.
  
  
• All other movements are pneumatically operated by solenoid valves. Clamp frame, table lift and plug assist are operated by synchronised cylinders. All pneumatic valves have 24V technology and are equipped with control display. All speeds are stepless adjustable.
  
  
• Solid constructed clamp frame with infinitely variable reduction bar system, operated vertically. Movement by 4 synchronised cylinders. This ensures an even distribution of clamping force is and setting for material thickness is not necessary. Clamp frame adjustable steplessly in both axis without any additional parts. All positions of clamping frame are programmable and storable. Any limit switch adjustments on frame are no longer applicable.
  
  
• Operating side of machine is secured with a light barrier with automatic self-monitoring system.
  
  
• New machine control SIMATIC S7 with decentralised connection of all attached assembly groups via SINEC L2 DP-bus. All operations, displays and controls via a single operator screen, Siemens connection front left on freely swinging operating panel PC 670.
  
  
• Complete vacuum system equipped with 1 vacuum pump(s) 100 m ³/h and automatic control of oil level and filter condition including connection to operating control.
  
  
• Pneumatic synchronised plug assist system. Force 10600 N.
  
  
• Fan cooling through 4 fans with 26 cbm/min each, 700 watts.
  
  
• Fans have a water mist injection system fitted within the air stream. Centralised water connection for all machine parts required.
  
  
• Automatic sheet sag control of foil during heating time via laser photocell.
  
  
• For manual mould change over with trolley, the machine has been equipped with appropriate spacing in base plate.
  
  
• The standard machine colour is light-grey RAL 7035 with important machine parts being painted in light red-orange RAL2008.
