5.12) Milling spindle SPL DRF 170 for the use with milling head as per option 6.12) and 3 axis machines.

The peak power of the spindle which is lubricated for life is 19 kW in S6 mode (40% on-time), the continuous power in S1 mode (100% on-time) is 14 kW. The spindle speed is infinitely programmable between 0 bis 24.000 rpm. The nominal Torque of the spindle in S1 mode is 21,1 Nm and in S6 mode it is 27,8 Nm. The spindle is equipped with hybrid ceramic spindle bearings and water cooled.

The tool holder size is HSK-A63.

The spindle is also provided with an integrated encoder for position control at the lower speed range.
