1) Cooling unit to cool the trimming spindle, also used for the cooling of the hermetically sealed control cabinet.

On machines with linear motors this unit is also used for cooling the linear motors.  The cooling power of the unit is 3.000 W.

For the cooling of high-frequency spindles, of the switch cabinet and for linear motors it is necessary to have a closed cooling water circuit.

The flow temperature of the cooling water must be approx. 20 °C, the energy to be dissipated is between 7.000 kJ/h and 45.000 kJ/h.

It is possible to connect the machines to an existing cooling water circuit, but we recommend the connection to a cooling unit as described below:

• The cooling unit has a closed cooling water circuit, 
• it is completely wired and piped with the machine,
• the cooling water is filtered and mixed with antifreeze and anticorrosive agent, 
• the temperature of the cooling water is electronically controlled and digitally displayed,  
• all trouble messages of the cooling unit are evaluated in the machine control, 
• the coolant used will be R407C.
