23. Swarf removal system
The swarf removal system consists of conveyor belts which are pushed below the machine.
The machine table consists of single struts spaced at 500mm. The tools can be clamped on these struts. These struts feature tap holes and borings (in standard version, alternatively thread M12 and borings diameter 10H7 spaced at 50 mm).
Below the strut sections the machine frame is funnel-shaped. The swarf falls down between the table struts onto the conveyor belt or slide along the along the inclined funnel onto the belt.
Grids are provided between the table struts to prevent that extremely large milling waste can drop and get jammed.
Behind the machine the conveyor belt runs at a 45° inclined angle upwards. At the end of the conveyor belt, the swarf falls into any collecting bin.
For maintenance purposes, the conveyor belt can be withdrawn from below the machine.
