34. 3-axes machine design

The vast majority of GEISS machines are 5-axes machines. GEISS machines are rarely required in the 3-axes version.  For this reason there is no series for 3-axes machines.  Option 34 is a price reduction that allows for the missing 4^th and 5^th axes.

The Z axis, which is then empty, can be fitted with any milling spindle (WALTER milling spindle or IBAG milling spindles) or with additional axes for cutting with knife acc. to our Option 13.1) and 13.2).

The picture shows one of the possibilities of this Option:

The gimbal head has been omitted and the empty Z axis was fitted with an additional axis with cold knife.

This machine is used for the 4-axes weakening of slush skins for invisible airbags.
