Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google Ads. Ads is an online advertising program of Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

In regards to Google Ads we are using the so called Conversion Tracking. If you click on an ad placed by Google a cookie for the Conversion Tracking is stored. Cookies are small text files which the internet browser stores on the user’s computer. Those cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not for the personal identifying of the user. If the user is visiting specific pages of the website and the cookie is not yet expired, Google and we are able to see that the user clicked on the ad has been forwarded to this page.

Every Google ad customer receives another cookie. Those cookies cannot be tracked by ads customers’ websites. The information gathered with the help of the Conversion cookie is used to prepare Conversion statistics for ads customers which have opted for Conversion Tracking.
The customers learn the total amount of users which have clicked on their ad and who have been forwarded to a Conversion Tracking tagged website. They however don’t get any information with which the user could be personally identified. If you don’t want to take part in tracking you can object to this usage by easily deactivating the cookie of Google Conversion Tracking in your internet browsers’ settings. Then you are not added to Conversion Tracking statistic.

You can find more information about Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking in the privacy policy of Google, policies.google.com/privacy.; you can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. The functionality of the website can be limited if cookies are deactivated.
