Thermoforming is a thermal forming process used for processing thermoplastic materials. The thermoplastic semi-finished product is heated to forming temperature until it becomes soft and malleable. It is then drawn or pressed into a mould<\/span><\/a> using vacuum, compressed air or mechanical assistance. After cooling, the plastic solidifies into the desired shape. <\/p>\n
