Milling
CNC milling is a precise machining process for producing dimensionally accurate components from plastics, aluminium or other materials. The workpiece is securely clamped and machined by rotating milling tools that remove material. The movements are computer controlled across multiple axes, allowing complex geometries and tight tolerances to be reliably achieved.
The result is highly precise components with a defined surface finish and exact contours, suitable for prototypes, individual parts and series production.
Advantages and applications of milling
The stable tool guidance and computer controlled process control enable the cost effective production of demanding contours, functional surfaces and fits. This makes CNC milling particularly suitable for technical components with high quality requirements.
With modular equipment, advanced control technology and a robust machine design, GEISS offers maximum process reliability and productivity in industrial manufacturing.
