The CNC 10 with a tool-changing spindle and adaptable ultrasonic unit enables the machining of both millable and non-millable materials.
Ultrasonic technology integrated into a milling spindle
The 6-axis system is specialized in milling operations and offers an additional function for ultrasonic processing of honeycomb materials, fabrics, and composites. The gearless 6th axis enables flexible machining in two modes: precise cutting with an ultrasonic blade and peeling operations with ultrasonic discs. Thanks to its slim design and a change station at the rear of the machine, different ultrasonic units can be automatically and safely exchanged.
Ideal solutions for your application
The equipment includes four different tools for specific applications: short ultrasonic blades are ideal for cutting fabrics and thin-walled structures, while long blades are used for processing honeycomb materials. For precise honeycomb machining, rotating ultrasonic discs with a small diameter are available for tight areas, while larger discs are suited for convex structures.
